Sizing: bias tape has a finished width of 1/2". Bias quilt binding is cut at 2.5" with a finished width of 1.25". Multiple yards ordered will ship as one continuous piece.

I'm fairly new to quilting. One thing I have learned is if the quilt or throw is going to be really used (which why shouldn't it) it should be bound with bias binding. The number of threads per inch is way more than straight fabric which will make the binding stronger and last longer. I'm using the black and white stripe binding for a multi-colored baby quilt I am making. The B&W will really pop against all the colors. And, the quilt can be laundered over and over so it can be used!

I used it on a baby quilt and I love it. I rounded the corners a bit and it was faster and easier than than making mitered corners as I do with my straight of grain binding.

I also ordered the blue/white stripe, and used it in a scalloped baby boy quilt. It was lovely to work with and looks perfect !
